
New Project News
AEI currently utilizes a RIEGL VZ400 Terrestrial Laser Scanner on various job sites. This proecss utilizes a high accuracy 3D terrestrial LiDAR unit. The data collected will be brought into a feature extraction software, TopoDOT. TopoDOT utilizes a variety of tools to identify adn quickly extrapolate features within pointcloud data. All features can then be imported into an AutoCAD drawing file. AEI can provide an accurate 3D pointcloud of terrain plus any existing building or structures. The pointcloud can also be converted for Building Information Models.

Allen Engineering is involved with the civil design and surveying for the new park in Palm Bay, Flordia. This Regional Park will feature 150 full service campsite hookups and is scheduled to break ground in 2018. We are extremely proud to be involved in this project.

Allen Engineering is beginning its 21st year associated with the Space Coast Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). During our 21 years, we have helped raise over $350,000 in scholarships and endowments. We are extremely proud to be associated with SAME and its continued commitment to offer opportunities for students pursuing careers in the engineering field.
Some of our latest projects
The newest addition to the Brevard County, Florida system, Heritage High is built on a 66.1 acre site in Palm Bay and includes facilities for baseball, football, track, softball, basketball, and tennis. Allen Engineering provided the site surveying, engineering, permitting, construction surveying, and inspection. We also provided the survey, engineering, and permitting of a ¾ mile road extension to reach the site.

The newest addition to Port Canaveral, Florida, this 31.6-acre project, completed in April 2010, provides 24 new fuel storage tanks with the larger tanks having a capacity of 6.3 million gallons of fuel per tank. The project required the installation of over 6,000 piles to support tanks, pipelines and other miscellaneous structures.
Cape Caribe is a beautiful 418 unit resort time-share project located in Cape Canaveral, Florida. This resort includes seven (7) buildings with residential units, four (4) parking garages, and and extensive pool deck that contains a water slide, a lazy river, and a wave pool. The project is adjacent to Port Canaveral's Jetty Park, and it shares a master stormwater management system with Solana Shores and Solana Lakes condominiums.
