New Project News
AEI is heavaily involved with the Canaveral Port Authority's latest endeavor, Cruise Terminal #1. This 187,500 square foot terminal is the first major terminal to be built on the South side of the Port, and is designed to accomodate today's largest ships, which hold over 6,000 passengers and 3,000 crew members. A three-story parking garage is being built in concert with the terminal on the same site. The project is expected to be completed in November 2014.

Allen Engineering is involved with the civil design and construction administration for the new fire station that is currently being constructed for the City of Cocoa Beach. This new state of the art facility broke ground in 2014 and we are extremely proud to be involved in this project with the City where we have been established for 50 years.
Allen Engineering is beginning its 14th year associated with the Space Coast Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). During our 14 years, we have helped raise over $250,000 in scholarships and endowments. We are extremely proud to be associated with SAME and its continued commitment to offer opportunities for students pursuing careers in the engineering field.
Melbourne High School Football Field
Allen Engineering’s involvement in projects at Melbourne High School have been widespread. The most recent project has been the conversion of the football field from natural grass to a synthetic surface. The conversion includes an intricate underdrain system and coarse aggregate base below the synthetic surface. The Melbourne High School field is one of three synthetic surface fields in Brevard County, Florida.
