New Project News
AEI currently utilizes a Trimble SX10 "All-In-One" Total Station on various job sites. This device allows for scans from stable positions without requiring special lifts or equipment to reach difficult locations. The data collected will be brought into a feature extraction software, Trimble Business Center (TBC). TBC utilizes a variety of tools to identify and quickly extrapolate features within point cloud data. All features can then be imported into an AutoCAD drawing file. AEI can provide an accurate 3D pointcloud of terrain plus any existing building or structures. The pointcloud can also be converted for Building Information Models.

Allen Engineering is involved with the civil design and surveying for the new Middle School in Viera, Flordia. This will be the newest school in the Brevard Public School system and is scheduled to open for the 2024-2025 School Year. We are extremely proud to be involved in this project.

Allen Engineering is beginning its 24th year associated with the Space Coast Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). During our 24 years, we have helped raise over $400,000 in scholarships and endowments. We are extremely proud to be associated with SAME and its continued commitment to offer opportunities for students pursuing careers in the engineering field.

Allen Engineering, Inc. has provided services for 2 major health systems, as well as several automobile dealerships in the Brevard County, Florida area. We have also gained experience providing services for 15 restaurant establishments, as well as 19 shopping centers in Brevard, Duval, Orange and Volusia County, Florida.
Allen Engineering has provided surveying and engineering services for restaurant establishments throughout Brevard and Orange Counties. These include Burger King, Taco Bell , Dairy Queen, and 13 Wendy’s Restaurants, as well as a Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
Allen Engineering has provided surveying, engineering, and permitting services for several automobile dealerships in the Brevard County, Florida area for well over 20 years. This work included the relocation and expansion of Bob Steele Chevrolet in Cocoa, Florida, as well as similar services for Pontiac, Mitsubishi, and Mazda dealerships. The Mazda dealership was unusual because we used pervious concrete for portions of the paved area.

Allen Engineering has been involved with the surveying, site design, and/or permitting of site facility development expansion for two major health service systems, Health First and Wuesthoff. This includes the Cape Canaveral Hospital, which is a 20± acre site located on submerged land in the Banana River Lagoon as well as a 43 acre site in Melbourne, Florida for a Wuesthoff hospital. Cape Canaveral Hospital's facility expansion included a parking garage, a helistop, and a medical office plaza.

Allen Engineering has provided surveying and engineering services for various shopping centers throughout Brevard, Duval and Volusia Counties, Florida. A few of these are the Banana River Square in Cocoa Beach, Ocean Springs Plaza in Melbourne, Market Place in Orange City, and two shopping centers in Jacksonville. AEI has also provided site development plans for eight (8) Food Lion projects in Brevard and Orange Counties.
